You meet someone. You like them.
Their smile makes you smile. Their jokes make you laugh. Their friendly hugs make you feel too safe and their half flirting stupid remarks make your intestines turn to insects-those pretty day-flying ones that tramp stamps are famous for.
And then romantic comedy style it all goes to shit.
Except it's not like a movie at all.
Because you cry yourself to sleep over misunderstandings
and you choke down revealing gazes
and you brush your hand over your own hand instead of theirs
because all this not knowing is better than knowing and finding out it's a no go
- how could you stand spurned if you're drowning in unrequited?
